JTA School
So the Thai people have gone back and 2 Philippines too. JTA is not the same. I missed the times when we learn to speak Thai or Philippines language in the sign in room, the times we went over to Alex room for the delicious dinner he cooked and talk crap or talk photos till the wee hours in the morning, I miss them teaching us and telling us insiders tip, I miss the jokes and fun. I missed Boy, Jod, Mo, Alex, Diane and Aries.
On another note, Jia and Lok Man came! Yay and they lived 2 floors up from me. Yay I am no longer the only one stuck at P, the faraway island. Lol. And Lok Man will be joining JTA school too! :)

Exams over!
Whee just completed my only exam paper in NUS. But it was #$%&@! Wah liew so little time and the questions were rather tough. Totally blanked out on some. Worse is I remembered the answer to one 6-marks question 1 min after the lecturer said stop writing. 0_0 I shall just convince myself that no one managed to complete the paper anyway, except perhaps for the silly guy who walked out 15 min before exam end -_-!
Feel like sleeping. Didnt sleep again last night. This semester seems to have much more nights when I didnt sleep. Probably this semester I really work a lot at DC, trying to earn $$, and hence always have to rush homework in the middle of the night. But actually for the last last 2 days I have been sleeping more than 10 hours a day and still feel so so sleepy. T_T Sleep too much I think. Need to catch up on some sleep when I get back. Yawns!
Why am I still blogging when I should be going home and sound asleep on the bus? Because I wanted to print some stuff & return books and hence I am now in the Central Library, and so shun bian blog and get rid of all those thoughts in my brain. ^^ Heng no need to go Business Library to return one of the books! This semester I have been borrowing/photocopying books instead of buying. Save $$! But then, the photocopied one I only read one or two chapter? Quite waste of paper. =X
Ok lar shall do what I came to do, else I will be stuck here forever. Its a Saturday and CL is still bustling with people.

Phantom
Miraculously after yesterday night at Phantom of the Opera, my W800i phone is no longer lagging like mad. Must remind me not to plug the phone into the laptop lest the same thing happen again. Now I am depending on the slow infrared to send the pictures, wlos but compared to having to endure a laggy phone, its rather fast.
So Phantom was yest. $145. Whee sorry Drey had to endure the tall big headed guy in front of her that keep shifting for whatever reason and totally spoilt her Phantom experience. Grr. Anw I think despite all the bad review on Phantom that I have heard, my manager at DC actually said in his words "first class tickets for third class show", I actually quite enjoyed it, except for the messy scene when they received letters from phantoms and started singing together and probably for the not-very-impactful chandelier crashing to the stage. I heard they up the speed abit already but erm I think technicalities of having to lower the chandelier below the proscenium before able to crash the chandelier on stage, that totally spoilt the whole impact. And I didnt hear any traces of mouthing the songs, as my manager had claimed, maybe it was two different Christine. Drey also say she didnt. I love the river scene and what wondering how they 'row' the boat in and how the sets shifted in by themselves. Budget must be the key to it!! And I think the Phantom quite poor thing.. have to run up and down climb up and down appearing in the most unbelievable places. One of the usher once asked me why did I go to watch Phantom on stage since it was already shown on TV? And I insist that watching on stage is so much nicer, and that I would spend over $100 for a musical I liked. She said she wouldn't spend that kind of $$. I feel that on the big screen and on stage there are intrinsic differences, and I love how the drama unfold before my very eye rather than being pre-shot. The dynamics of theatre is something that film cant beat. At least thats how I feel. Now there is just this one musical I would like to catch on stage: Les Misérables!
So now every projects have been done. Finally! This semester projects seems to stretch for soooo long and its like never-ending. Now for my last paper. >_<
The fabulous line art at Esplanade by Joshua Yang & his students.
Rule #1: Lines are continuous. Rule #2: Lines cannot overlap.
Yin & Yang. I can just imagine how much time is needed for drawing all these with much planning and the varying thickness of lines. Super nice!

Now watching: Hana Kimi & My name is Kim Sam Soon (I noe I super lag >_<) Now listening: Jewel! Pieces of You. (Suddenly got the urge to listen to her songs. Damn nice!)

On another note, need to get a new mouse and somehow dunno why the cbox at my blog is not working T_T! The rest of the cbox at other sites are working! Grr!

Rusty
Struggling now to finish the website for NM3217. It should have been easy for me, but I realise it been rather long since I designed a website. Getting so rusty. With all the new web 2.0 and AJAX stuff coming up, I got an itch to try them out. But then again, I wonder do I have the time, and most importantly the heart to learn. And right now I am stuck at designing the navigation bar for the website, the ones I did look so ugly. Still have no idea how the site is going to look like. Plus I got to do it in tables. Goodness I dont think I have ever designed a website using tables. I hate tables. >_<
Today or rather yesterday was my first paper. The first time having an exam in a lab, using a computer to type, in Chinese some more. I think my typing is slow, especially with the keyboard which cant seem to register the 'n's I type. Grr. Dont think I will do well in this paper, bcoz I haven't written much. The 2 hours are just not enough. Well hopefully the weekly assignments that I think I did quite well in will help. Anw only need a C and above since its NTU module. Reminds me that all my As from Korea University all become Ss and cannot help to pull my CAP up. So wasted. But of coz I still do want to score well on the NTU module lar. Oh and I met Kaili when going home today. She was talking to a friend about the U.S gun incident, describing some of the details, which got me somehow quite disturbed. Actually I was just eavesdropping on their conversation after some brief awkward chat with her. =X.
After 5pm today, I will have only have one more project and one more exam left. But right now I still need to write the goodness know what printer specification, do the stupid dummy and the art package. I hope the print job for my brochure turns up ok. Gotta pick it up later.
The laptop is so w-o-l-s. Especially when I was doing the brochure at 300 dpi. Think there is just too many programs in the lappie. I have thus far installed Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Office 2007, Clubbox, FlashGet this semester. On top of ImageReady, Photoshop, Flash, Maplestory which was already installed. Would have installed Premiere too if lappie had allowed it to run.
Need to get back to finish the damn website. Last minute work again. Like what's new.
{In the end we didnt watch the movie. In the end we had a game of Daytona. In the end we ended up at the bus terminal. And then suddenly because the bus that came wasnt 69, we ended up at Macs eating ice cream. In the end I am glad that you came back to us. Thank you for telling your story, though I didn't help. You will be loved by us. Thank you for coming back.}
